Mihail Neagu graduated the University of Architecture and Urbanism “Ion Mincu” in 2013. After 5 years of intense architectural and interior design at Re-Act Now Architecture in Bucharest, he founded the Inedit.Works studio. At the begining, his work was mainly focused on apartments and interior design projects.
There 3 principles that defines my works:
1.The power of contrast: one cannot feel warmth without cold.
2.We do not believe in separate elements like floor, wall or ceiling but we believe in an overall story.
3.The gradient of color, light or material brings dynamism in each interior design project.
Inedit.Works is a young office of two young architects whose main goal is to provide uncommon solutions to the needs of the clients.
We are focused on residential, retail and office projects, guiding our clients to finding the solutions that, at the beginning of the project, they have never dreamt about. Inedit.Works describes best our dual approach. From Romanian language point of view, „inedit” talks about something strange, unknown, not yet seen. Inedit.works is always on search of original manifestations towards finding new meanings of common principles, materials (What if we turn the image upside down, will we be able to change the mix in something new). Also, from English language point of view „in-edit” defines something that has not a very clear shape, similar to a story. That is why we consider that each project is based on a story (we can call it concept) which develops more and more with each conversation with the clients. The more we know about their expectations the greater the taste of the story.
Our clients are very different one from another, from young people who want a different type of environment for their first new home, to local entrepreneurial companies or international corporations. We believe in strong implication in each project, we are the screenwriters of the story and we we need to make sure the movie is according to our story.
